Är Du redo att följa med Aastra Telecom Sverige in i den nya spännande utvecklingen av applikationer för kommunikation?
På Aastras utvecklingsenhet för Applikationer arbetar i dag 42 personer spridda över fyra länder – Sverige, Belgien, Tyskand och USA. Vi utvecklar applikationer inom “Unified Communications” och multimedia. De lösningar vi tar fram effektiviserar kommunikationen i små och stora företag genom en kombination av traditionell telefoni och nya teknologier som t.ex. röststyrning, instant messaging, video och presence.
Vi är just nu inne i en mycket spännande och utmanande fas där vi ska harmonisera existerande applikationer och samtidigt bygga de nya. För att klara detta behöver vi utöka antalet utvecklare.
 
Vi letar efter Dig som har praktisk erfarenhet av mjukvaruutveckling inom C++ and C# and or Java . Du har utvecklat i Windowsmiljö, Visual Studio samt med erfarenhet från SQL-databaser. Du har också erfarenhet från utveckling av distribuerade system i IP-nätverk och har förståelse för parallelitet (multitrådade processer) samt SIP/RTP. Du är van vid objektorienterade och agila arbetssätt t.ex. Scrum. Det är en stor fördel om Du har erfarenhet av utveckling inom grafiska användargränssnitt..
Våra utvecklingsprojekt involverar kollegor från alla våra länder och engelska i tal och skrift är därför ett krav. Om du inte behärskar svenska i tal och skrift vill vi att du lär dig det då du kommer att vara placerad i Sverige.
Du är högskoleingenjör eller civilingenjör med inriktning mot mjukvaruutveckling. Du har minst tre års erfarenhet av mjukvaruutveckling och tycker det är extra stimulerande att utveckla applikationsnära lösningar.
Som person är Du positiv och uppskattar att arbeta i ett globalt internationellt team. Du är ansvarstagande och självständig och gillar nya utmaningar och miljöer. Det är en fördel om Du besitter förmågan att tänka lateralt och förstå ”olika lösningars värde”.

Aastra Applications R&D unit needs to expand its SW design team

Are you ready to join Aastra Telecom Sweden AB on the exciting journey into the new communication development era?

Aastra’s Applications development unit consists of 42 individuals spread over 4 countries; Sweden, Belgium, Germany and USA. We are developing applications within the Unified Communications and Multimedia portfolio. These applications are increasing the business efficiency in small, medium and large companies, by the combination of traditional telephony and new technologies like speech recognition, instant messaging, video and presence.

Aastra has entered a very exciting and challenging phase in which the existing applications are harmonised/migrated at the same time as new are developed.

We need more power to manage this challenge and we are looking for people with practical experience of SW development within C++, C# and/or Java. We are looking for experience with Windows and Visual Studio and experience in working with SQL databases. We also require that you have experience in development of distributed systems in IP networks and an understanding of multi-threaded processes. We focus on object oriented and agile ways of working, e.g. scrum. It is an extra plus if you have experience in graphical user interface design.

Our development projects involve colleagues from all our teams and countries and English (oral and written) is therefore essential. As you will be based in Sweden we are also requiring that you learn Swedish.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years SW development experience that finds it stimulating to develop application based solutions.
